How to record your message

On this page you find helpful information on how to record the message you would like us to use for your vp.art.

Ideally, your recording should not be longer than 10 words (the length of this sentence), although you can record up to one minute. In short messages large varieties of details appear and will enrich your vp.art , while long messages provide a more general view. The effect is very similar to looking at a single tree as compared to a forest.

You have three possibilities to send your message to us:

1- Record on this site.

During the checkout procedure you will be prompted to use the TSAN Voice Recorder. To use this facility you need to have a built-in microphone or connect one to your computer.

2- Record offline

If you don't have a microphone or don't know how to use it, you can record your message offline and send it later. Ideally you should do it the same day of your order. You can send your recording as an email attachment to the following mail address: voicemessages@thesmartart.net

The order number will be displayed on your screen after payment, but you will also receive it by e-mail.

If you want to record a very long message, please first contact customer-service@thesmartart.net.

3- Let us do the recording for you

Whether you don't have microphone available, or simply don't wish to use your own voice, you can ask us to record your text for you. If you prefer this solution, this is how you proceed:

1- Check the corresponding option LET US DO THE RECORDING FOR YOU on the options page. You can even choose to have a male, a woman or a child speaking.

2- Click on the button [Add to cart and continue].

3- In the next window click on the central button [Start recording]. The TSAN Message Recorder will open.

4- Instead of recording your message, you write it into the large text field and click on the button [Send Record to TSAN]. A small popup will ask confirmation "Are you sure you want to send your mail without a voice message?", and you simply confirm.

After that you follow the instructions to proceed to checkout.
