We undertake to guarantee your privacy!

TSAN offers you a secure system to collect, process, store and track your sound files, and to make sure your personal information is protected. Please read on for further details.

1 We use an anonymous, 10-digit code (and not your real name) to track your vp.art samples, and for CeSaR and EnShots available in the near future.

2 We process your vp.art samples internally. No one working on the files ever sees your name; our technicians use only the code.

3 On your request, the initial sources and vp.art files can be destroyed after processing.

4 On your request, the information used to produce your vp.art images (filter sets) can be destroyed, although in this case we will be unable to subsequently make reproductions for you.

vp.art Portrait™ Procedures

Step 1: When you speak into your microphone, your voice is saved in a sound file. You can either use the recording facility available on this site, or send us a file you will have recorded offline. Each sample received by our technicians is identified by a coded number. They do not therefore know who the sample belongs to. This number is associated with your personal information only inside our secure order database which is not accessible outside our company.

Step 2: Your message is processed internally. Our technicians clean it by removing any surrounding “noise” using various filters, and then convert it into a format compliant with our spectrograph analyzer (SpA). The SpA processes the sound file and displays a visual interpretation according to various parameters – sample rate, frequency range, bands per octave, bandwidth filter, rows per second, etc. Slight adjustments to these parameters allow us to highlight certain aspects, increase output clarity, and choose the most suitable image from an artistic perspective. At this stage, we have different types of black and white images.

Step 3: The raw images produced by the spectrograph contain all the information required to interpret your message as curves, patches and shades of gray. At this point, we apply various filters and color to emphasize the pattern and dynamics of your voice message. By defining precise filter sets (those you chose when ordering your artwork), we make sure the resulting vp.art correlates precisely with your original sound file. While the procedures used to create your vp.art are based on your unique recording, they do not collect or record any information that could be used for identification purposes. Your vp.art is a unique, artistic representation of your sound recording, and nothing more.

Our web server automatically recognizes the domain name of the site's visitors. We collect this information, as well as information volunteered by visitors, such as survey and/or site registration data, for the purpose of monthly internal reviews to improve our Website.

We use cookies to record session information such as the items consumers add to their shopping cart, and pre-filled form fields. These cookies are installed for your convenience.

Mailings and information control

If you do not wish to receive e-mails from us in the future, please inform us using the link at the bottom of our e-mail messages. Customers who provide their telephone numbers online will only be contacted by phone should any important information be needed concerning their orders. If our information practices change at some time in the future, only data collected as of the policy change will be used.

Security Policy

Concerning security, we apply strict measures to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information collected from you on our site. When transferring and receiving sensitive information, we redirect visitors to a secure server using SSL Encryption. All payments are made via the corresponding bank’s SSL servers. There are no credit card details stored on our servers.
